Add Topic

Add a new topic to the saved list and switch to it.

When to Use

• Works the same on desktop and mobile — search input is always in the header
• When filtering topics and no exact match exists

How to Use

Header-search — Works the same on desktop and mobile — search input is always in the header

Location: Search input at the top of the page

1. Type the topic name in the search input at the top (placeholder: 'Search topics…')
2. Click the indigo 'Add' button next to the input, or press Enter

Sidebar-suggestion — When filtering topics and no exact match exists

Location: Bottom of the sidebar topic list

1. Type a partial topic name in the sidebar search/filter input
2. A dashed-border button 'Add "[your text]"' appears at the bottom
3. Click the dashed button to add the topic

What to Expect

• The topic appears in the sidebar under 'My Feed', is auto-selected, and the app switches to it
• The topic is added to your feed and auto-selected

Prerequisites

• None — you can add any topic

Limitations

• Duplicate topic names are silently ignored
