How does AI people discovery work?

You describe your interests, projects, or professional focus in natural language. AI searches for people whose profiles, work, or interests align with your description and returns contact information with alignment details.

Where is my contact data stored?

All leads, contact information, interaction history, and search history are stored locally in your browser's IndexedDB. Nothing is uploaded to cloud storage — your network data stays completely private on your device.

How does lead scoring work?

You can assign any lead a score from 0 to 100 (in steps of 5) directly on the lead card or in the edit modal. Scores are color-coded: red (Low), amber (Medium), blue (Good), and green (High). Sort your leads by score to prioritize your pipeline.

Can I track interactions with my leads?

Yes. You can log interactions of any type — email, call, message, meeting, reply, follow-up, or note — with an optional note and automatic timestamp. Each lead shows the date of last contact and total interaction count, and you can sort by both.

What happens if I accidentally delete a lead?

After deleting a lead or interaction, an 'Undo' button appears in a toast notification for 5 seconds. Clicking it restores the item instantly. The deletion is only committed to the database after that window expires.

What formats can I export to?

You can export individual leads or your entire list in four formats: JSON (preserves all metadata including interactions), Markdown (readable format), CSV (spreadsheet-compatible), and vCard (standard contact format for importing into address books and CRMs).

Can I import existing contacts?

Yes. Use the import button to load contacts from JSON, CSV, or vCard files. Imported contacts appear in your leads list and can be scored, tagged, and tracked like any other lead.

How does AI message generation work?

AI creates personalized outreach messages by analyzing your interest description and the contact's profile information. You can generate individual messages or create bulk messages for all discovered contacts.

Can I search through interaction notes?

Yes. The leads search bar searches across all lead fields including name, role, alignment, contact info, tags, and all interaction types and notes. Searching 'emailed' or a keyword from a note will surface relevant leads.

Can I access my leads offline?

Yes. After discovery, all saved leads and interaction history are stored locally and accessible offline. You only need internet for initial AI search and message generation — everything else works offline.
