Add Task
Add a new root-level task to the current breakdown mode.
When to Use
- Applies to all screen sizes and device types
How to Use
Location: Main content area, task list section
- Find the input field labeled 'Add a new task...' or similar, usually at the top of the task list.
- Type your task description into this input field.
- Press 'Enter' or click the 'Add Task' button (often an '+' icon) next to the input field.
What to Expect
A new root-level task with your description appears at the bottom of the current breakdown mode's task list.
Prerequisites
- A project must be loaded in the app
- A breakdown mode must be active
Limitations
- Tasks are added as root-level tasks by default; they can be reordered or nested manually later
