Start Debate
Starts a new debate with the currently configured topic, contenders, and bad faith level. Must be on the setup screen with a topic and at least 2 contenders set.
When to Use
- After you have configured the topic, contenders, and bad faith level.
How to Use
Location: Debate Setup panel > Bottom of the screen
- Review the setup to ensure all details are correct.
- Locate and click the 'Start Debate' button, often prominent at the bottom of the setup screen.
- Observe the credit cost preview that appears before confirming.
What to Expect
The app transitions from the 'Setup' screen to the 'Chat' screen, and the debate begins with initial messages.
Prerequisites
- You must be on the 'Debate Setup' screen with a topic set and at least 2 contenders added.
- Sufficient credits.
Limitations
- Cannot start a debate if one is already in progress; you must reset it first.
